Posts Largest Category Gains in Every Major Internet Telephony Media

Provider Registers a 306% Monthly Increase in Unique Daily Visitors
PhoneFree.com,
a leader in free global Internet telephony services including free
PC-to-Phone and free PC-to-PC calling, free voice mail, video mail,
video calling and teleconferencing, announced today that it had
1,121,000 unique visitors to their multimedia application in June, a
57% increase over May's 713,000 unique visitors. Over the same time
period, Media Metrix reported that Dialpad experienced a 1% increase
and Net2Phone and FireTalk recorded decreases of 12%
and 1%, respectively. PhoneFree.com also shot into the Media Metrix
list of the Top 500 Web sites for the month of June.
As important, PhoneFree.com leads the
category with the largest monthly percent increases in average unique
daily visitors (306%) to their Web site, average minutes logged per
month (276%) and average minutes logged per day (75%). The increases
also pushed PhoneFree.com into the #1 position in terms of absolute
numbers for each of these critical metrics. The combination of an
aggressive marketing campaign, the introduction of free domestic
PC-to-Phone service, as well as the software upgrade and quality of
service (QOS) improvements, have played major roles in boosting
PhoneFree.com's popularity and its Media Metrix traffic numbers.
